Egypt had a goal disallowed against Argentina and the decision was argued about everywhere. Hinkle posted that the referee had denied Egypt a penalty and that FIFA is rigged, then followed it with a post saying FIFA is rigged and controlled by Zionists.
Arguing about officiating is the oldest thing in the sport, and this particular call had people on both sides. Pierluigi Collina, who used to run FIFA’s refereeing, said publicly the call was right.
“Controlled by Zionists” isn't an officiating complaint. It's the hidden-hand conspiracy theory with one word swapped in, applied to a sports body, and it appeared the same week as a faked statement from an Israeli minister and a doctored referee biography attached to the same match.
